Knitwear Design - Bespoke

Originally created for Mark Fast’s Spring/Summer 2011 London Fashion Week show, this dress was hand-knitted on a domestic knitting machine using intricate partial knitting techniques that took around a week to complete. 

Swarovski crystals were suspended from integrated loops in the knit mesh, while I also designed and constructed a delicate web-like bodysuit to be worn underneath, enhancing the overall structure and impact of the piece.

This dress went on to be worn by Kylie Minogue for her 2012 Calendar and during the 2011 Billboard Music Awards show.
