The brand was refreshed with a modern identity that still retained a strong sense of Africa. The final logo was hand-drawn and developed into a custom font using Adobe Illustrator. Tribal Textiles’ signature batik crackle effect, along with other traditional patterns, was digitised and applied across collateral including business cards, swing tags, and the website’s refreshed front page.
The Tribal Textiles brand required a major update, from visual identity to digital presence. The rebrand covered every aspect of design, including a refreshed logo created by hand-drawing fonts in Adobe Illustrator, digitising the signature batik crackle pattern in Photoshop, and developing new brand collateral. Using Adobe InDesign, catalogues were produced for the textiles, glass, and artisan departments, bringing consistency across the company while celebrating the uniqueness of each product line.
